 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGETo South Florida Chapter members: NOBLE is a non-profit all-volunteer organization founded during September 1976, to acknowledge that black law enforcement executives could have a significantly more effective impact upon the criminal justice system. It is truly an honor to be elected as President of such a prestigious and nationally recognized organization for the upcoming years. Our mission is to ensure equity in the administration of justice to all communities and to serve as the conscience of law enforcement by being committed to “Justice by Action”. Our goal is to be recognized as a highly competent, public service organization that is at the forefront of providing solutions to law enforcement concerns, as well as to the ever changing needs of communities and members. During the upcoming year I would like all members to focus on the future so that WE can reinforce our established commitment to “Justice by Action”. Let’s ensure we provide ongoing professional development, mentoring of emerging leaders, enhance supervisory and interviewing skills, tailor resumes for promotional advancement, and provide Leadership Panel Forums for our members. We will continue to increase participation in various managerial training symposiums, community projects, and fundraising scholarship events such as our Annual Golf Tournament. It is my vision that all dedicated NOBLE members will actively participate in the organization by increasing membership within your sectors, volunteer time with NOBLE sponsored community events, identify and mentor future leaders through our newly created Senior Executive Advisory Board. I encourage all members to forward accomplishments, promotions, and photos to the Executive Board so that WE can post valuable information on our website (noblesfl.org), which is linked to the National Headquarters webpage. In closing, I am confident we can collectively accomplish amazing successes from our South Florida Chapter. I wish every NOBLE member continued blessings and good health. SOUTHEAST REGIONThe South Florida Chapter of NOBLE is part of Region III, which includes the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Our membership is comprised of law enforcement officials who are committed to improving law enforcement services within our communities. The South Florida Chapter is comprised of three sectors. Each sector has a Vice President that is appointed by the President. Sector 1 members are from Miami-Dade & Monroe Counties, Sector 2 members are from Broward and Collier Counties, and Sector 3 members are from Palm Beach, Martin & St. Lucie Counties. Our mission is to ensure equity in the administration of justice in the provision of public service to all communities and to serve as the conscience of law enforcement by being committed to "justice by action". The goal of NOBLE is to be recognized as a highly competent, public service organization that is at the forefront of providing solutions to law enforcement issues and concerns, as well as to the ever-changing needs of our communities and members. |
