Captain Kevin Granville is a 20 year veteran with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and is currently assigned as the Area 2 Captain in the city of Pompano Beach.  He is responsible for assisting in overseeing a 31.5 million dollar budget and responsible for the police contract services for 125,000 residents.  He has a staff of 295 sworn and civilian employees that provide those services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.   

Captain Granville holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Bethune-Cookman University and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute Administrative Officers Course.  His professional affiliations include the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, Advisory Board for Turner Tech High School’s Criminal Justice Program, Kentucky Colonels, as well as others not listed.
